About:
Third World Images Project (TWIP) was founded in 2004 and provides a wide range of community services to Bwacha, a district of the city of Kitwe. TWIP provides much needed programs in the following 5 focus areas: Educational and nutritional support for HIV positive children, home-based care, community sports, vulnerable women support and vocational skills training. TWIP is partially supported by the well-known Stephen Lewis Foundation.

The attached students will be required to perform the following duties:
-Meet and plan together with the program team
-Attend partner and stakeholders meetings
-Identifiy gaps and challenges, and provide workable solutions at both office and community levels, and where possible make referals or linkages
-Hold and attend community meetings and provide technical support to various community issues
-Together assess effectiveness of current main TWIP strategies and provide recommendation and reports
-Identify sporting needs together with program team
-Introduce other sporting activities
-HIV/AIDS mainstreaming in all activities (This will be done through HIV/AIDS talks and Focus Group Discussions
Reporting
-The students will be required to report to the Program Officer who will be the supervisor
-The student will also be required to periodically provide feedback to the Technical Advisor
Please note that about 60% of the time will be spent in the field and the rest devoted to administration, planning and documentation.
