Douglas College is proud to announce a fundraising partnership between Movember Canada and the 2012 CCAA Men’s Soccer National Championship, which the college hosts in November. The partnership is part of the college’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Competing teams are asked to register with the Movember challenge, which has men grow moustaches in the month of November to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.

The team that raises the most funds will be honoured at the CCAA Banquet, as will the player with the best moustache and the “best effort” moustache.

The tournament’s community focus also includes free admission, a free youth soccer clinic, and a BC FoodBank drive — fans are asked to donate a non-perishable food item at the event.
