There are a number of existing clubs and/or groups at Douglas College that you can join through a few simple steps. Find a group you would like to join, get in touch with the group’s contact person, attend the next meeting and you’re all set!
FOCUS Club
FOCUS (Friends of Overseas College and University Students) Club is open to all students – international and otherwise.
For international students this is a place to meet other students, practice English and experience Canadian culture.
For the locals this is a place for you to befriend someone new to Canada, helping them to feel at home.
We are a Christian group, but everybody is welcome no matter what their beliefs or background… …

The Red what? Red Couch … The Red Couch is a brand spankin’ new campus ministry on the at Douglas College located in downtown New Westminster and in Coquitlam. It is our goal to provide an opportunity for students to explore issues of faith and spirituality with other students in a club environment on campus. Some of the things we do are study the bible and have discussion groups on campus, worship gatherings, and lots of other fun stuff that college students love and do….
