Douglas College and the Centre for Campus Life are proud to present the 3rd annual Leadership Retreat. Don’t miss out on one what many students have found to be their most transformative and memorable experience at Douglas College. Students from previous retreats have gone on to: start clubs, run student government, start organizations, create college and community programs, and win a number of community awards. This year’s retreat will take place from September 30- October 2nd. The purpose of the retreat is to provide personal and professional development opportunities for students passionate about making a difference either internationally, locally or right here at Douglas College. 30-35 students will be selected for the 2011 retreat, which is shaping up to be another incredible experience. Apply now as this is a competitive program!

Note: The Student Leadership Retreat is open to all Douglas students from all areas of study.

Event Information:

Location: Camp Jubilee, Indian Arm (a short boat ride from Port Moody), BC

Retreat Departure: Friday, September 30 (3:00pm David Lam, 3:45pm New West)

Retreat Return: Sunday, October 2. (6:00pm)

Application Deadline: EXTENDED: Midnight on Sunday September 25, 2011

Cost: $20. This includes the following: transportation, all meals, leadership seminars, low ropes course, canoe expedition and all other activities. Payments can be made at the Fitness Centre in NW, and A1362 at DL. Payment is only due upon being selected to participate in the retreat. Questions email dauphinees@douglascollege.ca
